We offer a wide selection of different models and styles. Whether you prefer watches with a vintage, classic, or colorful style, the most challenging part will be choosing just one! All our Seiko Mod watches feature automatic winding movements.

The Warranty

WE GUARANTEE EACH WATCH MOVEMENT FOR ONE YEAR. THIS GUARANTEE ONLY COVERS THE MOVEMENT, WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE WATCH. Our movements are systematically tested using a timegrapher to ensure precision and proper functionality. WE DO NOT COVER DAMAGE TO THE CASE, GLASS HANDS AND DIAL. We do not cover water damage, however we test the water resistance of each model up to 6 atm using a water resistance tester. I take the time to meticulously inspect each component for a flawless result. I highly recommend that if you have a screw down crown that you fasten until it is completely screwed down prior to going near water.

Our automatic Seiko Mods watches will be delivered in a protective leather travel case.

You have the option to acquire an automatic Seiko Mod watch available for sale in our shop, or to create your custom watch by contacting us directly. Please present your watch project, and we will discuss the feasibility of your project together.

How To Wind Your Automatic Watch

Each watch comes with a Seiko automatic movement. These movements are very reliable workhorses. They are easy to work with and they have an excellent reputation in the watch industry for this type of movement. I use the following models:

NH34, NH35, NH36 movements

If there is an A, B or C after the numbers, that is just the version. For instance “A” is the original version so most people do not say “NH36a”, they just say NH36. If it was an upgraded model you would see a letter after the name.

As for winding, when you get your watch, it is recommended to wind the movement 50-60 times at startup. This gives the watch a good 40 hours of power reserve. You cannot overwind so don’t worry if you give it extra winds in the beginning. Depending on your wearing habits, if you wear regularly, except at bed, you should only have to wind once or twice (40 winds) during that period. If it stops during this process, this means that you have exhausted the power reserve and have to start over. If you want to wear consistently and don’t want to be bothered winding while doing so, you should look at an automatic watch winder. They don’t work in every situation, but it does lesson the amount of times that you have to spend winding your watch.

What is a Seiko Mod

A modified Seiko watch, commonly referred to as a "Seiko Mod," refers to an original Seiko watch that has been customized and modified to cater to the preferences and specific needs of watch enthusiasts. These modifications can be aesthetic, functional, or both.

Aesthetic modifications can involve changes to the dial, case, hands, bezel, bracelet, and more. All parts of the watch can be altered. These modifications allow for the creation of a unique and distinct watch that aligns with personal tastes.

Regarding functional modifications, these might include performance enhancements, such as adding precision movements, improved water resistance, or scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for increased durability.

It's an exciting way to own a one-of-a-kind watch tailored to your personal style.

Although we use Some Seiko parts, we are not affiliated, represent, or associated with Seiko, or any other brand name watch.
